Quorra some times sees herself as somthing scary since she killed her first friend she ever had and she balms herself for what happened mean while her powers acted on their own and killed her friend in self defence. also to summon her red threads her need to summon up her own blood which turns in to thread. so even though she doesn't scar easily she sees her body as very mangled.
